Pet Stroller in Claire Cook's Life's a Beach

Pet strollers are getting more common and mainstream. The main character of Claire Cook's new novel, Life's a Beach, uses one!

You probably already know Claire Cook from her previous novel, Must Love Dogs. If so, then you'll be happy to know she is bringing another new character to life, Ginger Walsh. Ginger has love issues (naturally, for a Claire Cook character), lives with a cat named Boyfriend, and faces humorous challenges with family and men (also naturally for a Claire Cook character).

According to the review in the Columbus Dispatch, Ginger walks her cat in a pet stroller! Click here to read more.

Fighting like cats and dogs? A pet stroller solution!

The Dog Whisperer found a novel and very interesting use for a pet stroller. He was advising a person who had a dog and cat that wouldn't get along. The cat had taken to hiding all the time.

The Dog Whisperer diagnosed the problem as being with the cat and not the dog. The kitty was acting aggressively towards the puppy, and once the canine took umbrage and started pushing back, the cat would run and hide.

Cesar worked on getting the cat to be less aggressive, but he also had to work with the dog to begin to accept the cat and to act gently toward the cat.

What do with this situation? Here's a very interesting idea: Use a pet stroller! The Dog Whisperer placed the kitty in the stroller and took the dog and cat for a walk. The idea was to have the dog begin to associate the cat as being part of his pack. It seemed to work!

So, there you have it! Another interesting use for a pet stroller!

JustPetStrollers.com receives Excellent ratings

On this blog, we used to brag about all the positive ratings our site (JustPetStrollers.com) receives every month. While we're proud of that fact, it didn't seem like very interesting information for you readers.

But, every now and then it doesn't hurt to do a little bragging, so here goes: JustPetStrollers.com has maintained consistently strong ratings from people who purchase dog strollers and cat strollers.

How strong? We've sold over 6,000 pet strollers across the USA, and over 92% of the ratings we received are "Excellent." And another 6% have rated us "Good." It's hard to please all of the people all of the time, but we do our best. In the past month, here are some comments received by JustPetStrollers.com:
  • The stroller arrived quickly and was assembled with no problems. Much to my surprise, my 14 yr old (almost blind) has taken to it and now enjoys walks with us.
  • Great Quality Stroller, Superb Price, Fast Shipping, I cant say enough great things about JustPetStrollers.com PERFECTION!
  • I am recommending Justpetstrollers.com to all my friends. The service, the product, the price and the speedy shipping were all excellent. Thank you.
  • Very happy with JustPetStrollers! I tried ordering this same stroller from (a competitor that will go unnamed) and that was a horror story! JustPetStrollers did exactly what they promised. It was a great experience & I will definitely recommend them! Thanks so much.

If we can be of assistance to you as you select or purchase a pet stroller, please visit our site.

The connection between baby stroller and pet strollers

The Nantucket Independent has an article by Jan Jaeger, owner of Geronimo's, Ltd., a Nantucket pet supply and gift shop, and member of Dog and Cat Writer's Associations of America. The article is interesting in that it points out something we pet lovers already know--"What matters is that people are caring for a beloved family member, whether a child, a pet, or both."

The connection between products for children and products for pets and dogs is strong. The article notes two examples:

The parent company for Pet Gear, Inc., the (pet) stroller/play pen company,
is Vermont Juvenile Furniture, makers of children's furniture. Bamboo, started
in 2004, often uses the same products as its mentoring company, Munchkin, a
major player in the baby market for 16 years.

There's no reason why one's pet shouldn't be as protected as a child, so the fact most pet strollers are as well made as children's strollers is a good thing for we pet lovers.

Of course, not all pet strollers are made that well. At JustPetStrollers.com, we take very seriously the safety of all pets, so we've rejected some dog strollers or cat strollers that don't make the grade. If you have any questions about pet strollers, please feel free to post them here or contact our pet stroller professionals.

Pet Strollers in The Brooklyn Paper

The Brooklyn Paper has an article about pet strollers. "Hot dog on a roll: Pampered pooch pushed in stroller" is an article about Annie Carnes and “Shadow,” her Toy Yorkie.

Carnes is thrilled with her pet stroller. “It was worth every penny,” she says.

Sadly, she spent $200 on a Jeep Wrangler dog stroller in a local shop. The same stroller is available for less than $112 on JustPetStrollers.com (including shipping to Brooklyn).

Check out the article here.
