Tips for gifting a pet stroller this holiday

Thinking of putting a pet stroller under the Christmas tree this season? If so, be sure to visit our site at JustPetStrollers.com to check out a couple of tips.

For instance, some retailers won't take a pet stroller return if its been used or even taken out of the box; we recommend you leave the pet stroller in the box until your recipient decides if it is right for she and her pet (or he and his pet).

In addition, since pet strollers are such large items, online retailers will ship them in their original boxes, which display pictures and text about the pet stroller. So, if you want a pet stroller to be a surprise, be sure to have the item shipped to an address where the gift recipient won't see the box (at least until you're ready to present the gift.)

Check out the site for more information on pet strollers, pet stroller gifting, and how to select the right pet stroller for the cat or dog lover in your life!

JustPetStrollers.com part of Charity Auction

Just Pet Strollers was among the sponsors of a charity auction at CharityFolks.com. The auction benefited the Joyful Heart Foundation, an organization that helps to heal the survivors of sexual assault. The charity was founded by lovely and talented Mariska Hargitay.

The Dog Bag that was auctioned was the same one made available to stars at this year's Emmy's. The charity ended a couple of weeks ago with a bid of $800. We hope the winner enjoys their Dog Bag and stroller, and we're happy to have been able to help the Joyful Heart Foundation!

Pet Stroller allows man to shop with pet, from MyrtleBeachOnline.com

Here's an interesting article for you from MyrtleBeachOnline.com: An Asheboro, NC man has made many friends by spending his leisure time in a local mall along with his chihuahua. He strollers through the mall with his dog, Daisy, in a pet stroller!

You can read the entire article, but here are some highlights:
Shoppers and mall walkers who have never seen the pair often do a double-take when they notice the pooch perched on the bench next to John or standing on her hind legs to peer out of her doggie stroller parked at John's side. They leave smiling.

The day after Holyfield bought her, he took Daisy with him to the mall... The first thing he did was ask permission from the mall manager. Holyfield said he was told it was OK to bring his dog as long as she was not allowed to run loose.

A small airbrushed license plate that says "Daisy's Ride" made at a mall store is attached to the front of the stroller.

Skunks in a pet stroller

Skunks are amnog the hippest exotic pets around, these days. Only about 5,000 people keep skunks as pets these days, and the number is growing.

But how do you get skunks around, you may ask? With a pet stroller, of course. That's what Sharon Hradisky of Jamesburg, NJ does, according to an article in the Home News Tribune. Hradisky takes her four skunks for walks in their pet stroller.

Okay, so let's answer the obvious questions: Yes, skunks can be de-scented. Yes, there are breeders. No, skunks as pets are not legal in every state. Skunks are a bit more expensive to keep than more typical pets. And they live eight to 14 years.

And, apparently, they love pet strollers! You can see the entire line of quality pet strollers available at JustPetStrollers.com. And to read more about skunks as pets, check out the Home news Tribune article.

Pet Stroller makes a splash at outdoor event

Here's a message from a friend who used her pet stroller to take several dogs to an event:

My girlfriends (who also have tiny doggies) and I decided to have a Doggy Date and stroll through Bastille Days with our three (3) puppies…yes all three fit in one stroller! It was so fun to see people’s faces and see the excitement and astonishment when they realized there were dogs and not babies in the stroller. It certainly created quite a stir and both kids and adults were stopping by to see us.

Strollers are great for bringing your best friend to events where dogs on leashes might not be welcome! The dog stroller pictured is the Pet Gear Ultralight Pet Stroller.

JustPetStrollers.com goes to Hollywood

When Hollywood is looking for pet strollers, they call on JustPetStrollers.com.

The e-commerce site for pet lovers participated in the Dog Gift Bag for Emmy Presenters in the EXTRA Awards Lounge. A Happy Trails Pet Stroller was among the gifts available to celebrities. Several stars have requested their own pet stroller for their cats and dogs.

If you want to feel like a Hollywood celeb and have deep pockets, you can bid on the same Dog Bag that the stars perused, and it's all for charity. You too could own a pet stroller along with many, many other upscale gifts for pets, just visit Charity Folks to place your bid! (The current bid is $9500, and there is still time to bid!)

In addition, Just Pet Strollers had two strollers included in the September/October edition of "Cooking with Paula Deen" magazine. The article "Pet Parade" featured two big photos of a Kittywalk Pet Stroller and the Happy Trails Plus.

And, while we can't give you details, watch your favorite sitcom in September and you may see a Kittywalk Pink SUV Pet stroller featured! A show staffer called and ordered one to appear in the show, so we'll be watching (but we have to keep the show secret for now.)
